April creative happenings

A flourish of new large scale works on the horizon this month. I'm examining themes based on the desperate fragility of life. The space between here and gone.

On the flip side some very sweet commissioned portrait pieces also being sent out to lovely clients. I've been experimenting more with watercolour and inks. Looking into texture techniques with charcoal and solvents.

It's been a busy time in studio and I'm anxiously looking forward to the beautiful new Esker gallery and art space opening locally soon.
