Welcome to my studio

Hey all. Starting off my studio blog with some in progress shots from my new work space. There is such beautiful light coming in through the day from my bay window.

I've been thoroughly delighted with my new drafting table. Lusting after one of those for so long. 🤭

All my favourite working bits and bobs are in place. Derwent pencils, my tortillion selection for blending and also the new addition of a swordfish sharpener. I toyed with the idea of an electric one with all the bells and whistles but I'm more of a traditional hand crank kind of woman. I can more accurately direct the pencil lead sharpness and length.

It's the little things in life that bring such joy ☺️ Feeling very fortunate indeed. Will keep adding here as I go! Hope you enjoy
